Waiheke Island transport - tours and rental cars

Getting to the island or getting around while you visit, there is a great choice of transport options. Fullers passenger ferries leave from Downtown Auckland and Sealink operate a vehicle and passenger ferry service from Half Moon Bay in south east Auckland.

Car rental and car hire companies have offices at the Matiatia wharf  and tour operators meet most ferries by prior arrangement. When you arrive on Waiheke Island there are public transport busses that meet most ferries along with shuttles and taxis.
