Langs Cove is located less than two hours north of Auckland.  There are golden sands and extensive views of the Whangarei Heads and the Hen and Chicken Islands. The Hen and Chicken Islands, so named by Captain Cook in 1769 is now a wildlife sanctuary. There is great swimming, surfing, sunbathing, surf casting and plentiful shellfish in these sparkling waters.
